How We Deliver
A robot is only part of the answer
Deploying a robot successfully takes three different jobs, and no single company does all three well. So we separate them cleanly.
A capable robot only creates value once it fits the operation around it: the processes, the layout, the material flow, the safety case and the people. That work is a discipline of its own, and it changes completely from one sector to the next. Rather than claim expertise in every environment, we partner with a specialist in each.
The Model
Clear roles, clear accountability
Each party works only within its area of expertise, which keeps risk contained and ownership unambiguous.
Forge Robotics — the robotics software
We provide the engineers and custom software that make a robot work for a specific task: AI, autonomy, perception and programme leadership. We stay independent of any single robot platform.
A sector partner — the domain engineering
Each partner brings deep engineering expertise in the environment the robot works in. One specialist per sector, so the operation around the robot is engineered properly, not improvised.
The manufacturer and dealer — the hardware
Robotic hardware is supplied, warranted and serviced through the manufacturer’s own authorised dealer, and purchased directly by the customer. We stay out of the hardware supply chain.

Automotive
Contechs Consulting is an established automotive design and engineering consultancy that works with leading vehicle manufacturers from concept to production. Contechs engineers the production system a robot works in, taking the virtual factory through to physical implementation on the ground.
Other sectors
We are actively looking for engineering partners in other sectors, including manufacturing and industrial, logistics and warehousing, and infrastructure. If you engineer the environments robots work in, we would like to hear from you.

What a partnership looks like
Our partners keep their own brand, their own client relationships and their own commercial model. We are not a reseller and we do not sit between a partner and their customer. Forge leads the robotics and the software; the partner leads the engineering in their domain; the customer gets one integrated result with a clear owner for every part of it.
