The Partnership
Robots inside a security operation, not instead of one
Forge Robotics has partnered with Macaw Security Solutions to deploy patrol and monitoring robots as part of a managed, accredited security service.
A patrol robot on its own is a sensor on legs. What makes it useful is the operation around it: who watches the feed, who decides an alert is real, and who turns up. This partnership brings together the two capabilities that a robot security deployment really needs: the robotics software, autonomy and integration that make a platform patrol a site reliably, and the security operation that detects, monitors and responds.
Macaw Security Solutions is a UK security company based in the West Midlands and operating nationally, providing monitored CCTV and intruder alarms, mobile patrols, K9 units, vacant property protection and railway infrastructure monitoring, with alarm signals handled through an NSI Gold alarm receiving centre. Forge Robotics provides the AI, autonomy and robotics software, and the programme leadership, that turn a robot into a working part of that service.

Each partner works within its area of expertise, which keeps risk contained and ownership unambiguous.
Forge Robotics — the robotics
Platform selection, patrol routes and autonomy, the sensor payload, the software that turns what the robot sees into alerts and evidence, and the integration with the monitoring centre. Forge stays independent of any single robot manufacturer.
Macaw Security Solutions — the security operation
Site security assessment, monitoring through an accredited alarm receiving centre, verification of alerts, mobile and K9 response, keyholding and the security accreditations a client or insurer expects, all delivered under Macaw’s own certified management system.

Why It Matters
A robot patrol a client can actually rely on
Perimeter patrol, out-of-hours checks on empty buildings, construction and rail sites, and monitoring of large or hazardous estates are where patrol robots earn their place. They cover ground continuously, record everything, and do not get bored or put a person at risk. But a client buys an outcome, not a robot: a verified alert, a response on the way, and evidence afterwards. Delivering the robot through an accredited security company means the deployment fits the standards, insurance and reporting the client already works to, rather than sitting outside them.
